Payments & Processing Details

Yes, we also remit in EUR, GBP and AUD.

We use multiple partners. For credit cards we use local acquirers and for alternative payments we use either banks or build direct relationships with cash payment schemes.

We operate in a model similar to other PSPs. We replicate international transactions and handle them locally, to comply with the regulations in each country. We set up a back-end API integration to do so.

The fee is dependent on volume tier. It is a fixed fee on each successful transaction, and is charged to the merchant.

No fees are ever charged by LetPay to the users, unless expressly instructed to do so by the merchant.

Installments available depend on the country and card schema, but there is a maximum of 12 installments.

This depends on the payment method: Cash payments, such as Boleto or Oxxo are asynchronous, other methods are not.

We allow for merchants to process recurring transactions via tokenized payments whenever the payment method supports it. LetPay also allows the merchant to decide whether to use tokenized transactions or one-off transactions also for regular purchases.

Technical Integration & Details

If the currency in which you receive funds from us (e.g. USD or EUR) is different from the currency in which we collect funds from your users (e.g. BRL or ARS), we charge a FX Fee of 3.0% on the amount we remit.

Due to fixed cost imposed by the remitting institutions, an additional charge of $79 applies for international settlements if you want us to settle an amount lower than $5,000 USD ($9 for national settlements).

Currently we support server to server integrations, made via a RESTFul API.

Hosted checkout will be released in the near future.

Yes, we are open to partnering with merchants through integrators and are happy to discuss technical work with an integrator of choice directly, if the merchant provides an introduction. We are currently available via a variety of billing platforms and integrators, including Optile in Germany, and CloudMoolah in Singapore.
